Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sanabria Technologies LLC (“Sanabria Technologies,” “we,” “us” or “our”) handles information in connection with our mobile applications DaterUp! and Cacao & Coffee (each an “App” and together the “Apps”) and our website, sanabriatech.com (the “Site”). In short: we do not collect, sell or share your personal data through our Apps.
Summary
- We do not require you to create an account with us to use the Apps.
- Information you enter in an App (such as a first name or a birth date used for personalization) is stored on your device and is not sent to our servers.
- We do not use third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs in the Apps, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- Subscriptions and payments are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment card details.
- If you email us, we use your message only to respond to you.
Information we collect
Information you enter in the Apps
Some App features let you enter information to personalize your experience — for example, DaterUp! may ask for a first name for greetings and for birth dates to generate personality and compatibility insights, and Cacao & Coffee may ask about your taste and mood preferences. This information is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not collect it, and it is not transmitted to Sanabria Technologies.
Purchases
In-app subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Apple may share limited, non-identifying transaction information with us (such as whether a subscription is active) so the App can unlock premium features. We do not receive your name, email address or payment information from Apple.
Information you send us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include. We use it only to respond and to keep a record of the correspondence.
Website
The Site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Our hosting provider may automatically process standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) in server logs for security and reliability purposes.
How we use information
We use the limited information described above only to provide and improve the Apps and Site, to verify subscription status, to respond to support requests, to protect the security of our services, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.
How information is shared
We do not sell, rent or share personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that operate the platforms we rely on — including Apple (App Store distribution, payments and subscription management; see Apple’s Privacy Policy) and our website hosting provider — under their own privacy terms. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or Sanabria Technologies.
Tracking and advertising
The Apps do not contain third-party advertising and do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, as defined by Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.
Data retention and deletion
Information stored on your device remains under your control. You can delete it at any time by using any in-app reset option or by deleting the App from your device. Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve your request and for reasonable record-keeping, after which it is deleted. You may ask us to delete any correspondence at any time by contacting info@sanabriatech.com.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. Because the Apps store personal entries on your device, the security of that information also depends on your device’s own protections, such as your passcode and Face ID or Touch ID.
Children’s privacy
The Apps are rated 18+ on the App Store and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — for example California (CCPA/CPRA), other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (GDPR) — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we generally do not hold personal information about App users, most requests can be satisfied by managing the data stored on your device. To make a request, contact info@sanabriatech.com. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
International users
Sanabria Technologies is based in the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., your correspondence will be processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate, such as in the App or on the Site.
